According to Magic Johnson, by the way of Twitter, Lamar Odom of the Los Angeles lakers will be named the NBA’s sixth man of the year later today.
Sixers fans, you can put the hope and wishes to sleep. Unfortunately, neither Lou Williams or Thaddeus Young will bring home the award, although they were both nominated.
Odom average 14.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per-game this season.
The Los Angeles Lakers are currently down 1-0 in the first round of the playoffs against the New Orleans Hornets. Game two is tomorrow (Wednesday, April 20) at 10:30 p.m. ET.
