Interesting 15-Man Roster: Sixers Edition

Shawn-BradleyHere is a list of 15 players. No, it is not a redraft team. It’s not a fantasy roster. It is pretty sick, though. And when I say sick, I’m using the word negatively. Every single one of these players tie in with the history of the Philadelphia 76ers. “How do they,” you may ask?

Flash back to 1993 and 2010. In both of these drafts, the 76ers had the second overall pick, a pick that the Sixers may get again in the 2014 draft. They took 7’6” center, Shawn Bradley from BYU and shooting guard / small forward, Evan Turner from Ohio State, respectively.

How do these players relate to Philly? You may have guessed it already. They’re all players that the 76ers passed up on in both drafts. Consider this a group of players that got away. Also, consider the fact that the second round pick is not always a lock. Shawn Bradley became the center of many vicious critiques and Evan Turner bummed his way out of Philadelphia and to the title-contending Indiana Pacers after just a few seasons in Pennsylvania.

Well, here you go:
