Las Vegas Summer League (outlook)

After taking home the crown in Orlando the Sixers are now in the summer league in Las Vegas! Players to watch for are PG Scottie Wilbekin (Florida), Sean Kilpatrick (Cincinnati), Jordan McRae (58th pick, Tennessee) and many others. I’ll certainly be keeping an eye on McRae, a sharpshooter who could eventually challenge Hollis Thompson for the 2 guard spot. Kilpatrick is another guy who could contend for that position as he was a flat out scorer in college. It’ll be interesting to see Wilbekin play as well. He played very good with Memphis in the Orlando league, just needs to find his shooting stroke. Others to watch for are Tim Frazier (Penn State), Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson (Temple),  and Tyreek Duren (La Salle). We also have some NBA relatives in Drew Gordon (brother of Aaron) and Elijah Millsap (brother of Paul). Should be a very interesting time in Las Vegas. First game is Saturday night at 10:30 pm against Dante Exum and the Utah Jazz!
